Draft Dan Borsch for Congress
I just started this blog as a way to show our support of Dan Borsch as he contemplates the decision to run for Congress in 2006 against the vulnerable Congresswoman Anne Northup.
Dan Borsch is currently the President of the Louisville-Jefferson County Young Democrats and is a practicing worker's comp attorney. Though he is only 29 years ol of age, I feel he would make a great candidate.
I first met Dan this past summer when Senator Bayh was in Louisville with Jonathan Miller to launch Jonathan's initiative of a Millitary Bill of Rights. He is a very nice person and I look forward to working or volunteering for him should he decide to run.
You can use this post to show your support for Dan Borsch and let him know that you will support him for Congress. Let's get Dan Borsch in the race now.

Wait, you are supporting this guy and you have no idea where he stands on issues? You can't give us one reason why you support him? Here is a suggestion. Before you start a "draft someone to run for something" website, you may actually want to know something about the person.

Didn't this guy, Borsch, place third in a three person council race against two tired and underfunded incumbents? What in the world makes you think he could take on the likes of Northup?

I'll support any candidate that isn't part of the good old boy network and is a freshface for the Democratic party. The R's have been kicking our asses by helping young republicans get elected.

Maybe Dan Borsch is exactly what we need, a fresh, young view and someone actually willing to put the time in make a change.
